Kirirom Group (vKirirom Pte., Ltd., Location: Singapore, Representative: Takeshi Izuka) would like to announce that Ms. Chong Chuan Neo, the former chairman and country managing director of Accenture Greater China, has been appointed to director of vKirirom Pte., Ltd.
Background
The Kirirom Group aims to create an ecosystem in Kirirom National Park, Cambodia that co-exists with nature and creates new industries. And in order to realize it, we operate Kirirom Institute of Technology, which produces global leaders in the 4th Industrial Revolution era, and nature academic city called “Kirirom Nature Land”, and create startups from developing countries as startup studio.
The Kirirom Group is headquartered in Singapore, but has concentrated on Cambodia as a business activity. On the other hand, in order to grow the business as a startup studio, the necessity of connecting with the business world in the ASEAN region and the increasing importance of the Singapore base were issues.
Under such circumstances, Singapore has been selected as a director of the Kirirom Group by appointing Ms. Chong Chuan Neo, who has been supporting the Kirirom Group as a shareholder and is active in Singapore’s business and education worlds. First, we will accelerate the expansion of customers and collaborative partners in the ASEAN region and aim to realize the mission of the Kirirom Group.
History
・ Graduated from National University of Singapore and obtained Bachelor of Science degree (two majors in computer science and mathematics). Completed the Executive education in Business and leadership course at IMD Lausanne Switzerland.
・ For 29 years at Accenture, supports strategy formulation, best-in-class customer service model, customer value-oriented business, cost reduction / management in parallel with quality improvement, and integration after M & A execution. He has extensive consulting experience with global multinational, local and state-owned enterprises in business transformation projects utilizing technology and innovation.
・Headed Accenture’s Asia-Pacific industry, travel & transportation and consumer businesses for over 10 years and is Chairman and Country Managing Director of Accenture Greater China (2015-2018). Oversees strategy development and execution, growth and profitability, leadership development, corporate governance, risk management, and client satisfaction.
・ Main clients include Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Motorola, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Marriott, Temasek Holdings, Shanghai Port, Modern Terminal Hong Kong, etc.
・ Experience in multiple cities in the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Jakarta, Yangon, Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh, and Sydney. -Currently, the operating director of Partners Group, a private equity firm in Switzerland, with assets under management of US $ 108 billion. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Graduate Investment at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a member of the Executive Council of NUS Innovation and Enterprise.
