In Kirirom Institute of Technology, one of the uniqueness of our education is that it provides not only academic but also 3600 hours of practical internship for our students. The incubation center oversees the managing of 3600 hours of internship experience for KIT students. This includes assignments and matching process for clients’ project, virtual company management and ad-hoc capability training.

Kirirom Institute of Technology has a unique program called the Kirirom Startup Studio. This is a progression in the management of a large number of virtual companies, to which all current students are affiliated to. As of today, KIT has more than 20 virtual companies. The founder worked together with students of Kirirom Institute of Technology and established a team to promote developing businesses that uses IT technology to tackle social issues in Cambodia. Our first ever online pitch event for Japanese investors was held on August 8, 2020. Out of the eight selected firms that have pitched, three of them have been incorporated with investment from angel investors.
